If you get a “Restart Needed” message on your Handheld Transmitter (HHT) after a firmware update, it is due to a communication mismatch between the radio and button board. Turn the unit off and wait a few seconds, then turn it back on again. This should fix the issue.

• If it doesn't resolve the error, you can attempt to turn the remote off and on again or plug the device into the USB-mini cable.
• If neither of these work, contact Aarcomm for a repair.
