Bellypack Transmitter - Lite interface

The Bellypack Transmitter - Lite (BPT-L) remote has 9 push-buttons, two joysticks with buttons on top, two trigger buttons on the underside of the grips, and one display screen that indicates button functions and displays messages, alarms, warnings, and other information. The controls do the following:

  • Red/E-stop button turns the device off and operates the emergency stop.
  • The eight buttons to the left and right of the display match the device, control remote and machine functions, and let users access configuration and diagnostics mode.
  • The joysticks and trigger buttons control configuration and calibration functions and operate the machine, depending on the application. For example, on a hydrovac, the joysticks can be configured to move a boom up and down or rotate left and right. On a stone slinger, the trigger buttons can be configured to speed up or slow down the throw belt. The BPT-L also has a gyroscopic capability (if available in the firmware) that can speed up or slow down the throw belt by tilting the remote up or down.

Ultimately, the remote can be customized to fit the user's needs, so each part of the interface can be configured to serve any applicable function.
